We at Cassady Schiller are excited to announce that effective May 31, we are joining forces with KSM (also known as Katz, Sapper & Miller), a leading certified public accounting and advisory firm. Public announcements, along with a press release, will be issued later this morning.
Ranked among the top 50 largest independent CPA firms in the country, KSM currently employs more than 600 people and is headquartered in Indianapolis. Joining KSM will provide us the opportunities and resources that come with a larger firm, including expanded services for our clients, diverse career opportunities for our people, and new technologies that will enable us to better meet our clients’ evolving needs and expectations.
Our two firms share a common focus on serving high-net-worth individuals and families as well as businesses in many overlapping industries including real estate, hospitality, services, and manufacturing and distribution. Through KSM, our clients will have access to a wider range of advisory services such as IT risk advisory services, economic development incentives consulting, and transaction advisory services.
Cassady Schiller will be fully integrated into KSM as KSM’s Cincinnati regional office and will assume the KSM brand over the coming months. Cassady Schiller Managing Partner Mike Clark and Chief Operating Officer Heather Bucher will provide continuity as co-managing partners of KSM’s new Cincinnati office.
Cassady Schiller’s wealth management practice is not part of the transaction as KSM does not offer wealth management services; it will continue as a separate firm under the Cassady Schiller name.
We don’t expect any significant changes for our clients. You’ll continue to work with your same engagement team members (both on the accounting and wealth management sides) out of our Blue Ash office and can expect the same high level of service that you’ve always had.
For more than three decades, Cassady Schiller has met and exceeded the expectations of our clients, actively engaged with our community, and fostered a close-knit workplace in which people come first. We look forward to many years of the same – and much more – with KSM!
